| I am a retired mechanical engineer who creates kinetic sculpture machines. My first piece, "Why Knot?", continually ties and unties a necktie. My second piece, "Cram Guy", on permanent loan to the American Visionary Arts Museum, depicts a student who crams, falls asleep, dreams, is woken up, and then the cycle repeats. Short videos of these two pieces can be seen at the website below. Additionally, with my wife, WSG member Paula Stone, I create sculptures out of Oriental Bittersweet, a non-native invasive vine which we cut down from trees on county parkland.
